• Barcode Information: We collect and store barcode data you scan in order to retrieve product information from third-party databases and for future reference.
• Store Information: We collect basic store details including inventory locations, store settings, and branding information necessary to operate the app within your Shopify environment.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To Provide Services: To operate the Scan2Sell platform and enable product listing creation and management in your Shopify store.
• To Retrieve Product Data: To query third-party barcode databases and image search services on your behalf in order to populate product information.
• To Improve our App: To enhance functionality, user experience, and overall performance of the platform.

Scan2Sell integrates with third-party services to provide its core functionality, including barcode lookup databases and image search providers. When you scan a barcode or use the image search feature, your product data and search queries may be transmitted to these third-party services. These services have their own privacy policies and terms of use, which govern their handling of your data.

Images temporarily retrieved through these services are automatically deleted from Scan2Sell's systems within 24 hours.

We may share your information in the following instances:

• Service Providers: Third-party services may be used to support app functionality, including barcode lookup databases, image search providers, and hosting infrastructure.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Scan2Sell, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Images temporarily processed through the platform are automatically deleted from our systems within 24 hours. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your store and product data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Barcode scan history is retained to improve lookup speed for repeat scans. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at neilmagnuson11@gmail.com.

You can control certain aspects of data collection and processing through the app settings. You may also uninstall the app at any time to stop data collection. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us at neilmagnuson11@gmail.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will update the Effective Date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
